In Ikea, John is crying
Me: Do you want your sippy?
Jonh: No
Me: How about your bottle?
John: No
Me: Gold Fish?
John:Yes (big smile and then mouth crammed full of gold fish)
John was so funny at Ikea. I let him out of the stroller in the children's toy area and after going down the slide he headed straight over to the toy kitchen. He got out a cup, pretended to turn on the sink and fill his cup with water, and then took a pretend drink. It was so funny to watch. He also enjoyed pretending to cook something in a frying pan on the stove and then he served it on the table. There was a scary moment where I lost him. I have never lost a child before and it completely freaked me out. I was watching a little blond boy head bobbing around the toys only to have the kid turn around and turn out to be NOT John!!! Luckily my friend had noticed the real John wandering off and grabbed him and I only knew he was missing for about two seconds. We almost didn't go to a play date at the mall playground today because I was worried about losing him again. But I decided I couldn't live in fear so we went and the kids loved it and let me shop for a few hours after without melting down. And I got the sassiest jeans at anthropologie!! on super sale!! I know it is bad form to write about prices but I have never been a designer jean girl. Mainly because I can't bring myself to spend $200 on jeans. Well anyway, they were having a super super sale and I walked away with some Joe's jeans for $60! This was really great because I don't have any jeans that fit. I have been doing weight watchers for the past four weeks and I've lost 41 pounds since I had the baby!!!! Two more pounds and I will weigh what I weighed before I got pregnant with Grace and then ten more pounds from there and I will weigh what I weighed at my wedding!!! Unfortunately my tummy does not look like it did before but I guess I have to expect that after three kids in three years.

Yay for you!!! I'm very jealous - I would love to be able to lose weight instead of gaining but oh well. You need to post some pictures. How do you like Weight Watchers? I was thinking of doing that after I'm done with this pregnancy since we are of course doing family pictures at Christmas which is an awesome 4 months after birthing this kid. How's life with 3 kids? I hope you are doing well! Did you sell your house yet? Ok, I'm done with questions. :)
Well I want to lose 12 more pounds before any pictures because I am not quite yet a "hott mama" I like weight watchers but I usually eat way less then they say to. The program is designed so that you lose 1-2 lbs a week and I want to lose more then that a week. But one week I didn't exercise and just ate with the plan and I still lost 2 pounds. Life with three kids was an adjustment- I had two really bad weeks (maybe post partum-ish)- but now I have got a routine and life is good again. Unfortunately we have not sold our house yet but I think if another month goes by we are going to try renting it. Aren't you renting someone your old house Camille? Any tips would be totally appreciated
We are renting our old house and it hasn't been bad at all. It helps that we have great renters. We manage it ourselves since we live so close and have only had to replace the washer and dryer so far and they were pretty old anyways. I have a lot of the documents that you would need and a pretty intense rental agreement if you want me to send them your way. I like that we have in our contract that we don't make repairs that are under $125 (or something like that) and obviously burnt out lightbulbs, jammed toilets, etc., are their problem. We also insisted in the contract that they have renters insurance and that that is the primary insurance for anything that goes wrong. I could go on. Sooo many people are renting right now that it's getting pretty easy. The scariest part was choosing renters since you have to be very careful to use the same "criteria" across the board or you could potentially be sued. Which obviously did not happen to us. We had our house on the market with 6 months and no bites but rented it out in less than a week.
Good job on the adjustment and weight loss! As I was trying to sew last night and kept getting rudely kicked I was insanely jealous that you were done. I know I need to enjoy only having one kid (so easy!) but I'm also ready to be done sharing my body! :)
Losing a kid is terrifying! Every second you can't see them feels like forever! Way to go on the weight loss as well, that is awesome! I keep hoping I will/trying to lose it all before having another, but it just never happens and it gets really frustrating. You are doing great and so soon after having Lily. Good job!
