Now I know the "supposed" first day of fall was August 23 but here in Houston it was yesterday. I went outside and there was a delicious bite in the air, it was the first day it would have been silly to go to the pool. Outside the grocery store the crisp wind brushed my face and I was in heaven! I love cool/cold weather which can be a problem when you live in a land of eternal summer. Sweaters, jackets, and scarves just call to me. It could be a nostalgia thing. I don't remember a Halloween growing up that didn't involve a coat over my costume. I just hope the cool weather keeps up. In honor of the first day of Fall donuts and cider were offered to all in the house of Larson.

This could not possibly be a "Houston" picture. But it is gorgeous. I was grateful for the cool weather when I ran the American Heart Run Saturday. It was perfect! How did your primary Halloween party go? So, so sorry to have missed it.
