Surrender Foul Rash, Thy Destruction is at Hand

For the past 48 hours I have been waging war. War against the most formidable of foes, the enemy of babies' hindquarters world wide. The name of my nemesis, diaper rash. The problem became apparent when Princess Wiggle Worm's lovely disposition began to sour and fussiness ensued. Being a modern mother I immediately turned to the great sage of my generation, the interweb. We have abandoned baby wipes for warm wet clothes and Princess Wiggle Worm gets her bum blown dry with my hair dryer at each diaper change. Then a lavish amount of diaper cream is smeared on and then we are good to go. It seems to be working, what was once a totally red bottom has transformed into just two red spots. I'm hoping by tomorrow it will be all healed. I've also been letting her air dry on her changing mat, lets just say I've been doing a lot of laundry! Poor baby (her, not me.) Waging war is all consuming, I realized that I was starving and hadn't eaten since the day before, ooppps!

oh man, the worst. i use a blowdryer to blow dry my babies tushes, and use balmex and huggies supreme diapers. those are my hints.

p.s...only use a blowdryer that has a "cool" setting!

you are probably getting sick of my comments- but this happened to makenzie. our poor babies have such sensitive skin.
BABY POWDER worked wonders for makenzie's bottom! I used it at EVERY diaper change for a year, and she rarely got diaper rash. Try it, it will make her bottom go from wet from the wipe, to dry and yummy smelling in seconds.
The Desitin was just an emergency measure AFTER the rash appeared, but the powder definantly prevents it!
