Rats!
I wanted to post a blog yesterday about having 100 days left until I have the baby... but I missed it. Did anyone else ever celebrate 100 Day at school? In my kindergarten class we counted the days until the auspicious 100 and then had a HUGE grade school style party. We went around the room counting and the lucky kid that happened to get to say 100 was presented with a crown. I am still slightly jealous of little Pugja Baga. I also missed Baby G's half birthday this past week. Where is my head? This past Saturday I went to the outlets with my friend E and we had a party. In fact I ended up driving a uhaul home with our loot. By the way, driving a uhaul at night for 3 1/2 hours is not something I would recommend for a six month pregnant woman, especially through unfamiliar terrain. In other breaking news we moved Grace to a toddler bed last night and she love love loves it! Neil and I set it up in her room and she hopped right in, let me tuck her in and snuggled into her pillow and went right to sleep. In fact she is still sleeping right now despite the thunder storm raging. Now next week we phase out the bottle. Any suggestions? She loves that thing. I was thinking of gathering all the bottles together and packing them up with her and having her say "bye bye bottles" and something about being a big girl now. We shall see. Last night I had a rather frightening dream that someone at church attacked me, well, the person was trying to smash my skull against a wall. I don't think I can look at them in the same light again. Creeepy!

my mom had my sister give her bottle to the trash man when he came to pick it up. I had to bury mine in the back yard.
who from church? You have to say who it was now :)
i thought your title post "rats" meant you had rats in your house! ahh! so glad that is not the case. We are getting rid of celahs bottle today also because her doctor suggested it (its her 1st bday). So far she hasnt cared, I think it must be easier when they are littler. I dunno maybe just something to try with your next.
Jessica- I'll tell you next time I see you :)
I think switching from a bottle to a sippy cup works rather well if you put juice or some other drink she likes in it and something less exciting in the bottle. Hopefully that way she's all mmmm, to the sippy cup and will perfer that. Good luck. She's a cutie.
So Baby G gets to go to nursery now?!!? Let me know how that goes!
I guess I should clarify- I really only give her bottles at nap time and at night. During the day she has sippys or drinks out of a regular cup. And I don't want to give her sippy cups in her room because she is an evil genius at dumping them, and I have tried several different brands. I think the bottle is more of a comfort thing.
Meredith... please don't tell me it was me you had that terrible dream about.
