The Horror

I'm typically lucky with avoiding horrible pregnancy associated things- like the mask of pregnancy, hemorrhoids, or that dark line that runs down people's tummies but with Grace I got a little skin tag on my upper lip under my nose and with baby number 2 it happened again. In exactly the same place. So I calmly made a doctor's appointment to take care of business i.e. cut that bad boy off. This morning I went in and the doctor looked at my skin, praised me for my lack of sun damage moles, and informed me it might not be a skin tag- it might be a mole or..... a wart-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Since when did I morph into a wart tote-ing witch? The doctor wasn't sure what it was so they cut it off and then froze the area just for good measure. Apparently a lab report will let me know exactly what was going on, on my face. On my drive home I began pondering how such a horrible thing could have happened to me and I remembered an incident a few months ago that I blogged about. When in a sleepy moment I mistook Neil's wart stick for my chap stick. I scoured my face after but apparently the damage was done. So yes, that has been my day so far. Hopefully things will look up and my skin will not start turning a shade of green.

Do you go to a dermatologist for that or just your regular doctor? I got a skin tag and I HATE IT but I don't know where to go.

I went to a dermatologist. I try not to mess around when it comes to my face
