"A yummy new treat!"

Perhaps Grace isn't old enough yet to help out in the kitchen :)
So in other news Grace has hit the terrible twos a year early. She is a tantrum throwing machine if she doesn't get her way. And she is determined to get her way by hook or crook. For example Baby G loves the TV remote control. I use to be able to pacify her by giving her Neil's calculators when he wasn't home but now she realizes the difference. So one day while playing with Daddy Grace made a move to get the remote control. Neil moved it and Grace brought him a toy from her bin and started to play with it. Well, the minute Neil got distracted Grace took off for the remote control and then cackled evilly when she grabbed it! Church has become quite a battle and honestly Grace is usually the victor. I have her with me for the first hour of primary and she is very good at distracting the 3 year olds. Today they were singing the Hello song and G started Screaming "HELLO!" while waving. The sunbeams promptly followed suit and yelled all their "hellos". Her verbal skills are rapidly improving though. Or maybe I am just understanding her better. During her bath yesterday she kept pointing out the toy "phish" to me. Today she order Neil to "put on shoes" after she had taken them off. And she is starting to obey me when I ask her to do something, which is wonderful. But I am afraid she is earning the nick name of Little Napoleon. Grace does have a really soft spot for little babies however. Her friend Julia is 6 months younger and Grace always walks towards her saying "tickle tickle tickle" and then tries to tickle the baby. Luckily Julia, or in Grace's words "Uleeah", usually laughs happily. While Grace is not a big giver of kisses she always tries to plant ones on babies, in between the tickling of course.

well if it makes you feel any better- sometimes I feel like celah has already hit her terrible 2's as well. She screams tantrums from not having the remote too. I gave her a fake remote that looks the same as ours I just took the batteries out. it works pretty well. but kids are smart! its funny. good luck with your adorable little girl.
