Am I in a horror movie?

It is currently 10:08 pm. Neil is still at work and a giant crash just came from downstairs. I grabbed the nearest weapon, the remote control, and my cell phone and headed downstairs. While talking to Neil I surveyed our house and couldn't find anything amiss. After checking all the doors, bathrooms, closets, and of course the baby I was still mystified as to the source of the clamour. Then my eyes took in our mantle. A large picture of the Houston LDS Temple had fallen off and shattered glass was everywhere! Sadly the picture is all scratched and cut up from the shards of glass. But while cleaning up the wreckage I saw something moving out of the corner of my eye. With a gasp of horror my eyes alighted on a 1/2 inch roach fleeing the scene of the crime. Quickly I grabbed the RAID and took out that creepy creature. (Side note- roaches are inevitable in Texas, my house is not really gross. This is only the second one we have had since we moved in, and you can bet the farm that we are bug bombing this weekend.) So my question is this, is it possible for a roach to dislodge a giant picture or was this just a fluke?

Roaches are evil and I wouldn't put anything past them.

One more reason to hate summer time out here other than it lasts for 8 months, is that seeing at least a couple roaches make their nasty way into my house is a guarantee. No amount of pest control can keep the house completely roach-free, unfortunately (from what I understand, the big ones nest in trees and stuff and make their way in occasionally through weepholes in the house, but they don't nest in the house. It doesn't make it any less awful though). So I dread finding the nightmare-inducing creatures.

That was a long comment, mainly to say I hate roaches too.

I'd say the roach was one of Satan's helpers, get the raid and let him have it.

ummm holy cow. i hate roaches. we had them in japan although i never saw one in my apartment i was FREAKED out about the possibility. i heard that if you smash them it just leaves behind their baby eggs to hatch. so raid was a good idea. good job mer.
