The Joy of Motherhood

Apparently Little Baby Larson #2 has taken up residence on top of one of my nerves. Sadly, it has proven to be an important nerve. The one in charge of walking and moving and pretty much functioning. My back went out on Wednesday night and thankfully Neil was home and came running to my symphony of screams. I was stuck on the floor for about an hour because it was too painful to be moved. But, luckily, some Tylenol and a heating pad did the trick and two days later I am merely stiff and sore. (I am so glad I live in the time of modern medicine.) This child bearing thing is ageing. I feel like I should be at least 50 before I have to say things like "my back went out." Well, on to other topics. Oh wait I have no topics I have been home bound for 3 days with an energetic (thats a code word for crazy)toddler. And I am pretty sure Grace threw my phone into the upstairs garbage which Neil emptied, like a good husband, and then put out on the curb last Wednesday. So sorry if you try to call me- you may end up speaking to waste management. But lest you think I am a pessimistic mommy here are some things about babies that make my icy heart melt into a soggy puddle of mush.
1. Chubby little cheeks.

2. Tiny sleeping babies

3. The cute little new born wail- there is nothing like it.

4. Cute little baby feet

I'm so sorry! That sounds miserably painful. Carly didn't bother that nerve... there was another one that shot excruciating pain into a certain critical area that she would like to put pressure on... many times while out walking around I would pretty much drop to the ground in pain until it passed. Good luck! At least you're more than half way done - yay!
