The week before I made Julia Child's orange sponge cake with an orange filling and a orange butter cream icing. (Can you tell what recipe book I received for Christmas) However I was so hungry I didn't wait for the icing to harden up enough and the cake looked like a disaster but was tasty nonetheless.John has been smiling but I have yet to capture a fabulously perfect picture of it. Here are my attempts so far.

And Grace has been working hard to become a model older sister. Here she is teaching John how to watch Saturday morning cartoons on Mom's bed.

And Grace always makes sure John has toys to play with. When I went in to check on the lad here was how I found him.

The rest of Grace's time is dedicated to developing her talents. Here she is embracing her artistic side.

And here is the lady working on her self defense moves.

Finally here is a bracelet I made out of a plain silver cuff I bought years ago in Mexico.
Wouldn't it be cute with something like this?

So did you see the movie ''Julie and Julia"? I thought it was actually quite cute. And quite an amazing thing to take on-- all those recipes! And now you trying them- wow! You are one amazing lady.
Mmmmm...I love French Onion Soup. I will have to try that.
Trying on clothes anytime within 6 months of having a baby is incredbly depressing for me. Give yourself another few weeks or so before. You look great.
John is so cute, I love the pictures of him smiling and surrounded by toys. :)
Baby John we love you! You are so cute with your mohawk hair.
