I took both kids to the mall today. My sainted friend Emily came with and watched the strollers while I tried on clothes. Lets just say anthropolgie is not my post baby body's friend. So I called my mom to tell her of my woes. She pointed out that it has only been five weeks since I had the baby and in one more week I can start exercising (c-sections are not they way to go). I still feel defeated though. In the words of my cousin Paige, "I am off food." Ok not really. Phewph I think I got the whining out of my system :)
In other news John has been sleeping like a rock star. He slept through his 2 AM feeding and didn't wake until 6:40 AM which is awesome. Then today at the mall he slept through his 10:30 feeding and woke up at 1 to feast. Now if I can just get both long sleep times to happen at night I will be golden.
Grace is just as dramatic as ever. For a long time she has been exclaiming "Oh No!" but now she has tacked on another sentence to it, "what will we do?" And she no longer says "mama" it is "Mom" with a strange britishy accent.
I have some new pictures to post of the babies but my camera cord is acting up, so maybe tomorrow. I know my mom will be waiting breathlessly until then:)
