Today a bunch of my friends headed out to Old McDonald's Farm for a kid friendly field trip. (Yes I am posting more pumpkin pics) I took Grace and my friend's son. I secretly thought it would be a really hard day, perhaps almost nightmarish, but no one had a melt down or even cried! Toddler C (my friend's son) was a little scared of the petting zoo. I took him in to see the sheep and he immediately wanted to be held. He was content to be strapped into the stroller and watch from a distance, making things quite easy for me. He and Grace had a great time in the double stroller. Toddler C fed Grace her bottle and would pet her head every once in a while. Both kids liked the donkeys the best. The baby donkey was going a bit nuts and jumping around, adding a bit of adventure to our day. And Grace realized that hay can be a tasty treat for humans as well as our barnyard friends!
